Track Single 24

Wondering if when i ovulate is going to change and if so will it just be for this month or not at all.?

let me first tell you how it was before. back when i was in highschool and i ran track so it caused me to miss my period for the whole season. then as soon as that was over i got my period twice that month. then the next month i got my period on the 14th which seemed strange cause way back before doing all the sports and such it would come on the 16th or latter. but now i have been getting it right on the 11th. real regular which i never used to have cause i was always doing so many things like sports that messed it up. but this month i started on 8th but i think because of how last month went that caused it. but will this change my ovualtion time and if so when would this be. for the 11th i figured out that it would be around the 22-24. but what about this month. already asked this question but not a single answer.

Unless you are extremely regular (which is unusual), you can't trust the calendar to interpret your cycle. Maybe a loose guideline but certainly nothing to judge fertility or planning a trip to avoid doing so while menstruating. The best way to really determine ovulation is to take & chart your basal temperature every morning using a basal thermometer (not a regular fever thermometer). I can't answer all that entails here, there are tons of books on the subject (my favorite being, "Taking Charge of your Fertility"...a must read for all women imo whether or not you plan to "chart").

While it's not as accurate as temperature charting, you can monitor your cervical fluid & cervix position/feel to indicate impending ovulation. When you're getting ready to ovulate, you will have "fertile quaility fluid", which is quite watery, clear & stretchy. Not to be gross but it's a lot like really clear snot. It will feel very slippery & moist in your vagina. Often women are more aroused this time of month as well. Your cervix which is normally firm & easy to reach (feels like the tip of your nose) will get "high" (hard to reach) & soft & will open up right before & at ovulation. The next day (or w/in 2 days), after ovulation, the fluid will dry up & the cervix will go back to low, firm & closed.

The day you ovulate can vary from month to month (stress & exercise can delay ovulation & make it seems as if your period is "late") but once you ovulate, the time from ovulation to your period (called the "leutal phase") is consistent every month. So one month I may not ovulate until 16 days after my period, the next I may ovulate 10 days after my period. Regardless, I ALWAYS get my period day 12 or 13 days after I ovulate (which I can tell by charting my temps & checking cervical fluid & cervix position).

Not to mention you can't REALLY count on past cycles from when you were a teenager, as teenage girls' cycles tend to vary & your cycle can shift around on you as you age. But the leutal phase thing is consistent.
