Parcelforce question?
hi, ive got a parcel coming in the post and i just tracked it there and it says
Date Time Location Tracking Event
01-12-2009 19:27 National Hub Scanned at Hub
29-11-2009 14:56 International Hub AWAITING CUSTOMS CHARGING
29-11-2009 14:56 International Hub Arrived in destination country
26-11-2009 19:34 Delivery Agent - SHANGHAI - PTT Left origin country
26-11-2009 10:02 Delivery Agent - CHINA Collected from customer
could someone tell me what "Scanned at hub" means, does that mean its passed customs and it should be here in morning? and does it also mean i wont have to pay any customs fee's
AWAITING CUSTOMS CHARGING - you may have to pay customs fee
Scanned at Hub - its at the local hub, maybe going for delivery or maybe just the letter asking for payment of the customs charges.
Parcel force collect the money on behalf of HMRC. PF will hold the item (at the hub) untill you pay, if you need to pay.
