Speed Right 20

A man throws a rock from the top of a cliff that is 45.0 m above ground level with an initial speed of 20.0 m/?

nitial speed of 20.0 m/s at an angle of 34.0° above the horizontal. I cannot get D or F
(a) Determine the time it takes for the rock to hit the ground below the cliff.
4.46 s
(b) Determine the horiztonal distance that the rock travels.
.074 km
(c) At the instant just before the rock hits the ground below the cliff, find the horizontal and the vertical components of its velocity. (Take up and to the right as positive directions.)
horizontal 16.58 m/s
vertical-32.32 m/s
(d) What is the the magnitude of the velocity of the rock just before it hits the ground?
? m/s
(e) What is the angle made by the velocity vector of the rock just before it hits the ground?
63.3° (below the horizontal)
(f) Find the maximum height above the cliff top reached by the rock.
? m

You need to find the horizontal and vertical comonents of the initial velocity and angle, if you have not already.
For D, you need the vertical velocity attained, and the initial horizontal velocity, The velocity it impacts is the vector sum of both. (you have those in (C)?
For F, you use the initial vertical component. The formula (v^2/2g) will yeild max. height.
