is this a good asking price for two full set of wheels handbuilt for a race bike?
iv got the two wheels sorted out wit the price i think is good to sell them at. i just need someone to say if its a fair price. heres the list of whats on the wheels:
front and back hubs shimano deore LX M570 32 hole £22 each
rims are Mavic X517 32 spokes lemon coloured 8/9 speed 26" £45 for the two together
tyres are continental grand prix 26" x 1.0" slick MTB folding tyres £25 together with the rims
total: £114
should i up this price because they have rarely been used and in good condition?
yup the rims are a lemony colour
If you find someone who wants these wheels, it's a good price. If you are unable to find a buyer, it's too expensive.
Because I rarely get involved in 'proper' mountain bike stuff, they seem to be road biased wheels and do I read that the rims are lemon? The tyres are good though as are the hubs.
