should i get feet straps on my fixie?
I just bought a fixed gear bike yesterday and I was wondering if I should get foot straps on the pedals.
I already have both rear and front brakes but I thought maybe I would need straps.
What do you think?
I can get them for around $10.00 on amazon.com

Because either a pedal with toe clips & straps or a clipless pedal will keep your feet firmly on the pedals & prevent slipping. If it's a true fixed gear bike (no coasting) and your foot slips off the pedal - imagine how it (your foot) might get banged up by a the pedals still rotating.
