What is the milage for the 2.5 what years were they installed in wranglers? are the under powered?
Just got rid of my 99 wrangler with the 4.0 could not afford the gas (lifted oversize tires ect) I was wondering what kind of mileage the 2.5 liter gets also what years were they put into the Wranglers? I would use it strictly as a bone stock daily driver All highway miles no off road.I miss my jeep!Are they under powered?
I have a Jeep Wrangler 2.5L I get around 20mpg give or take depending on how I drive.
If i drive around 65 i can get around 20m/gal if i drive 70 i can get around 19m/gal
if i drive 55 (slow but works) i can get all the way up to around 23m/gal
Now the 2.5 has get up and go, just not like the 6 cyl.
its a dog with the a/c on but it will help with the gas milage.
16 gal tank, i get around 300mpg a tank doing around 65ish give or take..
