Olympic Dream.......or not?
I live in israel, and I want to be in the olympics for MTB or Road biking. i have experience in them and I have been racing for 2 years. There is a program for 14-15 year old girls for the olympics, and I was on the list until the manager realized that I was only 13. Is there any way I can qualify anyways?
the 1st Summer Youth Olympic Games to be held in Singapore next year will have two gold medals at stake (one for boys, and another one for girls) in MTB competition. I think this will be the first stepping stone towards realizing your Olympic dream in 2016 or 2020 since the "senior" Olympic Games only allows cyclists over 19 years old to compete in cycling competition (road, track, BMX and MTB).
