Which trail bike: Honda crf100 or Kawasaki klx140?
I'm 5'2 and about 106 lbs. I need a bike I can handle (I won't grow anymore) on rocky, muddy single tracks in the forest. Not going to race, jump and need to impress anybody, so a 4 stroke should be enough bike for me. Can't decide on the two. About the same seat height and that's the first thing I have to look at.
Kawasaki: 40cc more, 205lbs, Tires: Front 17, Rear 14. Disk/disk brakes.
Honda: less power, 174lbs, Tires: F/R 19/16. And drum brakes front/rear.
Currently I have a 280lbs Yamaha dual sport but it's very heavy and tall to navigate around on some trails. Thanks!!
Go for the KLX140, but go for the "L" with the larger wheels, not the smaller one you described in your post. It has the CRF100 beat in every way. The rear shock on the kawi is also rebuildable, something the honda can't claim.
