can 3mmx20mmx1000mm stainless steel cantilever subject to constant vibration be broken?
any one know how to calculate if it has infinite life cycles ? hope somone can show calculation.

limiting stress : 207MPa
Steel in general has a great fatigue life. The material you are using has a yield strength of 240 MPa (and I'm assuming it is just a regular annealed stainless steel 316 bar), but I cannot really tell you any more without more information like how the bar is loaded. And I don't know how to do the calculation since vibration analysis is a pretty complicated subject.
