Hollow Pin 16

DIY septum piercing help?

ive recently bought 18g rings (surgical steel)
ive heard that a safety pin might work, but also a hollow needle.
im not sure where to buy the needles or what size i should get.
also not sure what i should use for after care
ive asked my parents since i was 14 im 16 now and they
still wont allow me getting any piercings so i just gave up on asking
them and just thought to let someone
do it for me (cant to go a tatto/piercing shop since im under age)
Anything positive helps(:

Good job on the jewelry though I strongly recommend you get 16G.
DO NOT use a safety pin, get a hallow pre sterilized 14G Titanium piercing needle (you can get them online or from a tattoo shop) use nothing else septum piercings are not something to just say "let's see what happens" to.

You should use a sea salt soak 3 times a day. Go buy fine (non iodized) sea salt and mix 1 tsp to every table spoon of warm water. Soak up the Solution with toilet paper and hold it to your piercing for three minutes three times a day (new paper and solution each time please) remember to re soak the toilet paper once the warmth dies down.

Also watch for your sweet spot. It is a thin layer of skin between ur cartilage and septum in your septum area. This is the poper placement for this piercing and it is the least painful and easiest area to pierce. For more information visit my youtube account. It is dedicated to self piercings. I have a few how to videos. As well as a video on how to clean your jewelry before piercing, how to set up and sterilize the area you are going to be using to pierce (i.e a bathroom counter don't wanna put a clean needle on a dirty counter) a video on piercing myths (i.e you can paralyze you face with a nose piercing) and a video on the top 10 mistakes of a self piercer.
