KHS ALITE 500 upgrades?
Ok so I have a khs alite 500 that I ride on pretty rough stuff at least twice a week. I upgraded the grips to lizzard skin peaty lock- ons. I just got a carbon seat post, crank bros c clipless pedals, and also a fizik seat. I like going really fast, but I ride pretty rough terrain. I was thinking about upgrading to a carbon stem and handlebar (what are the benefits of this, btw?) I was also thinkin about putting a 26" 2.1 maxxis ignitor up front and a crossmark in the back. How does this sound? Any other ideas? Thanks
the upgrade to the carbon stem would only make your bike a little bit lighter as well as all the other upgrades you were making... to me it sounds you have a lot of money on your hands and you should use it to get someone to drive you different trails that are harder and much more challenging, not on upgrades... my opinion on upgrades is that the only reason why i would need an upgrade is if one of my bike parts broke! and right now i have an Iron Horse 7.5 downhill bike
