Grips Bike 19

CBT test and a2 standard test for motorbikes help in the uk?

i want to do my cbt after my theory and then take my a2 test so i can ride a 33bhp bike im 19 years old and have been driving off road bikes for around 8-9 years so i know how to ride them fine the only thing ill need to get to grips with is the functions on the bikes like lights and indicators therefore i will only need a small amount of practice before my a2 however everywhere i have rang has quoted me £300-£400
does anyone know what i should be asking for and where to go cheaply around manchester and warrington

Take the CBT (this can be done before the theory test) and you can then ride a 125cc bike on L plates for 2yrs.
So beg steal or borrow a 125 and you can practice for as long as you like on your own at no cost.
You take the test on the 125 and once passed you can go get your 33bhp bike.

I suspect the quotes you are getting are for a course prior to test but there is nothing in law stopping you practicing on your own and taking the test on your own without the need to go near an instructor.

You may need to practice the Module 1 (off road) element of the test as I have seen many self taught riders come to grief on that.

£300 -£400 is about the right price for a complete course.
