Xbox live Connecting?
Okay well yesterday was my b-day, I got a xbox360, modern warfare 2, headset, chat pad and a 12 month gold pass for xbox live, I got also a wireless xbox connector that is second hand that my uncle gave me because he didnt need it any more, Do I need a special disk to connect? I dont know I need some help so I can play live tonight, It says I lose connection between the xbox360 itself and my wireless internet that I have from my parents upstairs (I live in the basement) when we tried to connect it wouldnt auto connect like my uncle said It should, anyone able to help me out?
IT DOES NOT AUTO CONNECT. You also do not need a disc. You need to create a profile first. Then, you need to get the IP address and password to your internet service. (Your parents should have it, mine keep it in a filing cabinet.) Once you have that go to your system settings(I think) and set up your internet connection. After that you are ready to go.
P.S.- "Auto connecting" to an internet service would pretty much be illegal, as you could be freeloading off your neighbors without paying.
