Face Ride 20

I have started biking for daily exercise. Any ideas on the best way to keep my toes warm on chilly rides?

I am now riding between 10 and 20 miles per day (usually in the morning). I seem to be able to keep everything warm (even my face) except my toes.

The shoe cover or booties recommended above will work. Make sure you are wearing wool socks instead of cotton or polyester. That makes a very significant difference. The plastic bag trick also works well. Try putting it over just the front half of your foot. If your foot sweats, you do want the moisture to wick out. If it doesn't, it will make you colder.
