Diamondback Bmx 22

Haro Conversion Kit? Should I get it?

I just got a Diamondback BMX bike last christmas and it came with a large sprocket (44T). I don't like it very much and of course it adds a little weight. I was planning on getting a smaller sprocket like down in the 22-36T range. I called Dans Comp today and they said they had a Haro Conversion Kit with a 25T sprocket and 9T freewheel. It comes with a sprocket, a back rim,and a cassett hub in the rim. I found out that i needed a cassette hub to go down that low from what Dans Comp told me. I'm just not sure if i should get it or not...Suggestions?

iv been riding bmx for around 3 years and the best thing i ever did was buy a new complete bike with all of the latest technology and smaller gearing (usually 25 sprocket, 9t cog) some of the complete bmx bikes by wethepeople and other companys are good enough to match up to a fully custom one worth around £800

why pay around £200 for a new backwheel and sprocket, when you can just buy a 2010 complete for around £300-£400

hope this helps.
