Which tire size for my bike?
I currently have a mountain bike with 26in. wheels. The tires are really knobby, and I would like to get some less knobby ones. How do I know if a new tire will fit or not? Will any 26in. tire work, or will I need to buy a new rim (where the tire squeezes into). I want the type of tires that are on the hybrid bikes. I have a (size 18) "Diamondback Response" with 26 inch wheels. Links to tires that will work would be great, but the knowledge of how I know if they will fit or not will get you the full 5 star rating. Thanks for any and all answers.

Go to your local bike shop and tell them you want a thinner 26 inch smooth tire. They will set you up. It will make your riding smoother, quieter, and faster.
