Are Most People Who Are Only 25% Native American, Tend To Look More White ?
When my friend's father was behind bars he had to join an Aryan gang because of his White appearance and so that he would not be a rape target for the Black and Hispanic gangs. He is English and French on his father's side and German and Navajo on his mother's side. Ofcourse he did not tell the White prison inmates that he is a quarter Navajo or else they would not have protected him if they knew he was not a "pure Aryan", so he had to lie and say that he was 100% White so that he would survive the 7 months behind bars
So do most people who are only 25% Native American not have an Indio/Mestizo phenotype and tend to look more White ? Or is my friend's father a rare case ?
I know a lot of people who are 75% White and 25% Native. Each of these people are enrolled with either my tribe or my husband's tribe, each of which have a 1/4 minimum blood degree requirement. (<-- This is stated only to show that they ARE, in fact, Native, by every definition.)
Every one of these people that I am thinking about are very fair skinned with light hair. They do not look Native at all. They truly could (and sometimes do) "pass" as White. I think that some of them rarely, if ever, mention that they are Native.
