BELIEVING SOMETHING IS ACTUALLY POSSIBLE

Trinity: Neo… nobody has ever done this before.

Neo: That’s why it’s going to work.

Without faith, nothing is possible. With it, nothing is impossible

Faith isn’t faith until it’s all you’re holding on to

My friends think I can be delirious at times. Yea I am looking at you GunnaDaStunna. and HBK. and Lake Effect. And I’ll be the first to admit that yes sometimes,  my endeavors can be ummm…. filled with lessons. Yet I push on because I know in the end, it’s all gonna workout. Whether I was asking girls to homecoming, interviewing for a new job or working on a new song or a blog post,  my faith has always been what’s gotten me through.

Life is all about taking risks. I definitely would not be in the position I am now, without taking the risks that I have. Yet developing this faith has not been easy.  Our most rewarding goals will always test us on how much we actually want to accomplish it. Which is why having an unbreakable faith is so important. Here are some of the things I do to help me believe anything can happen.

BE THANKFUL FOR EVERYTHING POSITIVE IN YOUR LIFE

Faith is a state of mind which can be developed over time. And the quickest way to develop that state is to look around for things you are absolutely grateful for. Take a moment and do that right now.

See?

Now repeat that and you will soon find yourself in the state of mind where you believe anything is possible.

ALWAYS KEEP POINT B IN MIND

Self suggestion is one of the most powerful tool a human being can possess. Yet is also one of the hardest to master. See yourself actually in possession of what it is you desire. Whether it be money, relationships or whatever you consider success, close your eyes and visualize what it’s like to be there already. Now do that repeatedly and you will actually “believe” yourself to be in that situation.  Perfection will only come through practice.

SEEK OUT SUCCESS STORIES

I always say that knowing what you want is the most important step is accomplishing anything. Once you’ve figured that out, it also helps to see other people who’ve succeeded in what your trying to do. Once you find these people, read everything you can about them. Learn from their actions and have faith that since they did it, you can do it too.

HAVING FAITH IN OTHER PEOPLE’S PLANS

If I’ve learned anything the past year is that “whatever your looking for, you have to first give.” So if you want some faith in yourself, it is important you choose to believe in other people as well. The next time someone is telling you their plans, listen wholeheartedly and let them know you believe in them, and that they can accomplish whatever trying to achieve.

Having faith in one’s ability and taking risks is what makes life worthwhile. As human beings, we are completely capable of anything we want.  And having faith that your plan is going to work is absolutely necessary for anything you try to accomplish. It is that same feeling I carry with me whenever I am attempting something new or working towards a goal that has had a lot of unexpected “learning opportunities”.  Because of my faith, I take more chances and keep going until I have accomplished what I set out to do.
