For a minute there, I lost myself
-RadioHead “Karma Police”
Seeing the world clearly is what buddhism is all about. Being able to describe what I see, learn and feel on a daily basis has always been the most enjoyable experience for me. Writing has allowed me to experience simple things and realize how special even just lying down on a bed or drinking orange juice can be. Or the relative impermanence of an activity like writing a blog post.
Words come and go.
And when you lose yourself in the sentences that have just been dying to be shared, you start to notice the color and feel of everything around you.
Anyone who loves to write will tell you that it always feels like what they were meant to do.
To describe and share what they’ve gone through. To vent. To laugh. Sometimes to just go crazy.
To connect.
To give.
When people talk about doing the one thing that matters, this is it for me. Writing is simultaneously when the world shuts down and invites me in. Nothing/Everything matters when I am seeking out these sentences. With writing, I can attempt to share the truth and even for a second, free myself from judgement.
I can be aware.

Wonderful! I agree that writing, seriously, just writing about anything helps us become more aware of the small things. It helps us become aware our thoughts, our emotions, and what’s going on in life. By eightfold, you mean the end of suffering in the teachings of Buddha? (I had to check that up
). This makes sense though if it is because writing helps us cope with our problems. Thanks Rocky.

Hi Rocky.
Very cool here. I agree with these points about writing. I also like the reminder to write(on paper, that is).
Find me someone who was disappointed with their effort to formulate some writing and I will give you 100 walnuts. I am joking there but writing sure is advantageous.
When we connect with writing, it is even better, because we get even more out of it. People get to see our mind in words.
“He might be called Rocky, but his writing comes off smoothly.”
@Hulbert Thanks! Yea writing is definitely the way I deal with things.
@Armen 100 walnuts eh? =) haha! Writing is the way I usually try to express myself to other people cause I know when I talk, sometimes I stutter and stumble. Putting words to paper has done a lot for me !
Hey
Awesome post! I can realate. I just get into a flow in my writing that I feel like I loose all my senses and nothing else exists. This is wonderful to read someone that shares that same creative space! Enjoyed reading this post.
I think writing is great for everyone. I love the reasons you’ve posted on here. Your writing are good by the way. I like it a lot.

We all have our outlet. Yours is writing, so is mine. It feels so good to liberate ourselves through our passions.
@Walter It most definitely does =)
