Not too much to report from this one, dear homies. Lake Effect and I were upstairs at BarleyCorn WrigleyVille, chilling and dancing. HBCuteEnergeticRedhead starts dancing with me for a little bit and says she’ll be back cause she’s going to the bathroom. I say “ok” and smile.
I think nothing of it really.
Lake Effect starts talking to this girl wearing reindeer horns , then introduces me. We start talking. Lake Effect gives the go to escalate since he has something to take care of. We talk more in isolation. Start dancing. Asked why the reindeer horns, wouldn’t really answer. I am pretty sure she was there by herself.
CuteEnergeticRedhead comes back and starts giggling, “hey get off my man!
Here’s where I should have paid attention. I thought they were friends. They weren’t. Never assume anyone knows anyone else in a club. Ever. Always ask and find out.
CuteEnergeticRedhead is smiling and dancing for me. And then she thought me and ReindeerGirl were together. “Hey I’m gonna go to my friends, I’ll be right back.”
I should have stopped her.
Instead….
Stayed with ReindeerGirl. low energy. After 15 minutes of dancing and conversation, decided to get some water. She comes with.
Dance some more. Still low energy. Seed a family guy date.
“If you behave, maybe we can go watch family guy later.”
HBK signals to pull her in closer. No dice.
Here’s another hesitation point. I should have taken her to sit in a couch. But she perked up during a Miley Cyrus song. Afterwards, she leaves to look for her friends.
DAMNIT!!!!
I learned from Brad P that our worst enemy is the 20 minute go nowhere set. At some point, man up and make a move. If you want to get a girl you have to be willing to lose her.
Another lesson of the night is earlier at one point, Lake and HBK wanted to go to Moe’s Cantina and I wanted to go to BarleyCorn. I’ve been trying to beat this anxiety of walking alone, so I said “Hey this is awesome, go to Moe’s and I am gonna go to BarleyCorn to work on this anxiety.”
Went upstairs by myself, really nervous.
I went to John BarleyCorn and opened up a KirstenDunst looking blond chick.

Met some Project Chicago peoples. Really cool and nice dudes!
