sony vaio laptop have always been reliable
i would be thinking about what you want to really use the laptop for
if its just multimedia a mac even though i don't like mac's but they are good for multimedia and things
but if its a business workplace and everyone is using windows operating system and you have a mac operating system, you are guaranteed to have problems with the 2 operating systems not working together as planed.
buy a vaio you can't go wrong.
