Alloy Cassette 21

Is this the most ridiculous quote ever?

Vice President Biden said this recently: "Every single great idea that has marked the 21st. Century, the 20th. Century and the 19th. Century has required government vision and government incentive."

Does Biden really believe that the government is responsible for what Henry Ford did?

Does Biden really believe that the government had anything to do with the invention of the refrigerator, air conditioning, washing machines, typewriters, the light bulb, clothes dryers, vacuum cleaners, the telephone, the cotton gin, the steamboat, the railroads, powered flight, photography, asphalt, concrete, aluminum alloys, high strength steel, fiberglas, radial tires, computer software, cell phones, the iPod, cassette tapes, the CD, the VCR, the DVD, the DVR, or anything else one can think of?

If so then in my opinion he's delusional and may be a candidate for custodial care.

Well, I'm sure that Biden truly believes his own words. Yes, it's ridiculous.

In his eyes, all great things come from government. Government is the solution to all of our problems. The current backlash against the "establishment" is baffling to someone who sees nothing but "great ideas" coming from government. Unfortunately for our future, there are millions of people who have been taught these same principles in a place known as government schools. The Obama-Biden administration is an example of what an unadulterated love of government can produce.
